Finished around 8:00..... 2. Went to Ambleside Park..... the sakura are still so nice there and the moon is so big and reddish. 3. Went to Light House Park and hike in the dark (o, color display cellphone are so useful) and climbed a few rocks to the shore (wow, the sound of the wave is so good) 4. Then went to Horseshoe Bay 5. Then went to Whytecliff Park and talk in the dark beside the still water. The moon light is high up and bright. 6. Then went to Tim Horton for some donuts. 7. Then went to Lynn Canyon Park and had some fun at the suspension bridge. 8. It suddenly triggered my memory........ Eliza Kuttner, from Hong Kong, living in Vancouver for many years, was an computer science instructor taught in Capilano College for 19 years and have been the department head for yaers. I was one of her students when I was in Cap College. She is one of the best comp sci prof I have encounted in these years. Her class was fun, full of laughter and jokes and most of all, she can cater the hard material in a simple to understand and interesting way. I love chatting with her and I often went to her office to chat about anything from comp sci questions to IT industry, anything from daily issues to the reason of life. She loves her fellow students and she is beloved by all her fellow students because of her caring heart and offer. There was one day she told the class about a disaster she's been through in Hong Kong when she was 11 (i believe it is the year 1972). She told us her story about miraclly survived in a major mudslide where the top 1/2 of the apartment building she lived in collapse and got flushed down the hill. She was luckily lived in the lower floors of the building, which was completely buried under the mud and debris. She got rescued and pulled up from the debris and she told us that the people in the upper floors of the building were very unfortunately and mostly killed. She told us how thankful she was to be able to really live all these years. This year, 33 years later, same type of disaster, she did not survive this tragedy and became the only victim died in this disaster. Her home was completely flattened, she was flushed away from her bedroom and buried 50m away from her home............. Goodbye my beloved teacher, may you rest in peace. You are one of the first to open the door of my future. May your spirit of bringing the best to students be continued by our generation. Farewell, you will be always in my heart.   April 4, 2005 GTM -8:00   UBC Lost my final exam.... !@#)$#*&)^@!_#*&)#^$ 1:19 AM posted message on course bulletin board and the prof ignored my post... emailed him 2 times, no reply... then i emailed him two days ago and kinda "inched" him, and he finally replied. SO DISAPPOINTED (again...)   April 2, 2005 GTM -8:00   Recovering 5:40 PM it seems like i'm 80% recovered from the cold.... time to focus on my phil120...
