Have you tried many video converting softwares but none of them converts your InterVideo MPEG-2 files to other format?
Or you can convert your mpeg-2 but has no picture?
The reason is because InterVideo has their own MPEG-2 Decoder which is not compatible with the standard MPEG-2 decoders.
To solve this problem on WinXP Windows Movie Maker, you can follow these steps:By disabling the InterVideo Video Decoder, it will NOT affect the performance of Intervideo Home Theater (and probably other Intervideo products as well). Although I'm not 100% sure that this will work on all other converting softwares, but at least I know this also fixes the problem on DeskShare's Digital Media Converter. But anyhow, if you are planning to convert to WMV's, you don't need other converting softwares, because the Windows Movie Player in WinXP will do the job.

Note
InterVideo Home Theater is slow to load~~~ and not to mention, their mpeg-2 decoder gives me a hack of a time to find solution for this problem.
